Oppo has introduced its famous camera-focused smartphones, the Reno 14 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 14 5G, in India. The OPPO Reno 14 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the base model uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC. Both phones feature triple rear camera setups, with 50MP primary rear cameras and 50MP selfie shooters.

OPPO Reno 14 Pro, Reno 14: Price and Availability
The Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G is available in two configurations: 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for Rs. 49,999, and a higher-end model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for Rs. 54,999. It is available in two colours: pearl white and titanium grey.
On the other hand, the base Oppo Reno 14 5G starts at Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. There are two further options with 12GB RAM, which cost Rs. 39,999 for 256GB storage and Rs. 42,999 for 512GB storage.
The Reno 14 comes in two colors: Forest Green and Pearl White. Both smartphones will be available for purchase beginning July 8 via Oppo’s official India website, Amazon, and select retail outlets.
OPPO Reno 14 Pro, Reno 14: Performance and Display.
The Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G has a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display can reach up to 1,200 nits of brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
It also includes splash protection and glove touch functionality. The gadget is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor developed on a 4nm technology, with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
The device runs ColorOS 15.0.2, which is based on Android 15, and it supports Google Gemini, as well as AI-powered features such as AI Unblur, AI Recompose, AI Call Assistant, and AI Mind Space.
On the other hand, the basic Oppo Reno 14 5G features a smaller 6.59-inch OLED screen with the same 1.5K resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset and has a 6,000mAh battery with 80W rapid charging capabilities. The software and networking choices are generally similar to those of the Pro model.
OPPO Reno 14 Pro, Reno 14 Camera Setup
Both the OPPO Reno 14 Pro and Reno 14 versions come with triple back cameras. The Pro variant features a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with optical zoom capability of 3.5x.
Both rear cameras have optical image stabilisation (OIS) and are capable of recording 4K HDR films at 60 frames per second. The Pro’s third rear sensor is a 50 MP ultrawide camera. It sports a 50MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling.
The base Reno 14 features a similar camera configuration, but the 50MP ultrawide sensor has been replaced by an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front-facing camera remains at 50 megapixels.

OPPO Reno 14 Pro, Reno 14: Battery and Other Features
The Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G features a 6,200mAh battery that supports 80W wired SuperVOOC charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging. The basic Reno 14 battery is somewhat smaller (6,000mAh) and enables 80W wired fast charging, but not wireless charging.
Both smartphones have twin nano-SIM slots with eSIM functionality, 5G and 4G network support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C connectors. They also have twin stereo speakers and an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.
The devices are dust and water resistant, with ratings of IP66, IP68, and IP69. The Pro version weighs 201 grams and differs slightly in thickness between the Titanium Grey and Pearl White variants.
